Amitabh Kant is Chairperson, Fairfax Centre for Free Enterprise. He is a former IAS officer who served as India's G20 Sherpa from 8 July 2022 till 16 June 2025 and as the chief executive officer of NITI Aayog. Kant has earlier served as Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Chairman & CEO, Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corporation, CMD – ITDC, Joint Secretary – Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Secretary – Tourism, Government of Kerala, Managing Director, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation, District Collector, Kozikhode and Managing Director, Matsyafed. He is the author of the book, Branding India – An Incredible Story.
