Sanjeev Kapoor

Air Marshal (Dr) Sanjeev Kapoor is a veteran Air Force pilot with over 8,000 hours of flying experience and a pioneer in aerial refueling operations in the Indian Air Force (IAF). A decorated officer, he commanded the IAF’s only air-to-air refueling squadron, a large operational base, the Air Force Academy, and the National Defence Academy. A qualified flying instructor, he has trained countless pilots and held key staff assignments, including Director General of Inspection and Safety, ensuring operational excellence across the IAF.

Holder of an Airline Pilot License, he actively contributes to defense strategy as a member of prominent think tanks and advisory boards. An accomplished public speaker, he addresses leadership, aviation, and strategy at universities, schools, and institutions.
