Chintamani Mahapatra
Founder-Chairperson of Kalinga Institute of Indo-Pacific Studies (KIIPS)
Professor Chintamani Mahapatra is currently the Founder and Honorary Chairperson of the Kalinga Institute of Indo-Pacific Studies (KIIPS). He is also the Editor, India Quarterly (Indian Council of World Affairs). Previously, he was the Editor of Indian Foreign Affairs Journal, published by Indian Association of Indian Diplomats. Professor Mahapatra served in Jawaharlal Nehru University as a faculty in the School of International Studies for more than two decades. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious fellowships, including the Commonwealth and Fulbright. He has served as the first Tagore Chair Professor in the Yunnan University of China. Professor Mahapatra has authored and edited eight books and contributed a number of research papers to edited volumes and reputed journals.
