Anil Ahuja
Former Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Policy Planning and Force Development)
Lt Gen Anil Ahuja PVSM, UYSM. AVSM, SM, VSM & Bar (Rtd.), is a former Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff for Policy Planning and Force Development. He commanded an operational Corps and a Mountain Division in Arunachal Pradesh, along the Northern borders.
He was the founding co-chair of India – US Defence Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI) Inter Agency Task Force (DIATF) and has been the member Secretary of the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) during the period 2014–2016. Since retirement in August 2016, he is a Distinguished Fellow at the Vivekanand International Foundation (VIF).
