Dr Muddassir Quamar

Dr Muddassir Quamar is an Associate Professor at the Centre for West Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Prior to joining JNU, he was associated with the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, New Delhi. Dr. Quamar has a wider interest in Gulf societies, Political Islam, Middle East geopolitics and India’s relations with the Middle East and writes and comments frequently on developments related to these matters.
